"The Parce-Snead Family Home Page"

On my mother's side I am looking for any information on the following surnames: Doremus, Lockhart, Woodbury and Helliker (Heliker). My greatgrandfather Joseph Doremus, born about 1870, married Lily Lockhart, born about 1872. My other greatgrandfather, Jesse Woodbury, born about 1872, married Harriet Helliker, born about 1875. These families settled in the Westchester County area of New York State, but I have little else to go on. I have found much information on the Doremus and Woodbury surnames, but at this time have been unable to link them up with my line.
On my father's side I am searching for any information on the Dansberry surname. My greatgrandfather Walter Dansberry, born 1882 married Antoinette Nelson, born 1879. It is believed her parents were Nels Nelson and Martha Olsen, both born in Norway. Walter and Antoinette Dansberry lived in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, but I know nothing else about the family. Walter was one of 13 children born to his parents, but beyond that his family remains a mystery.

On my husband's side I need any information on the following surnames--Snead, Boyd, Moore, Taylor, Rutledge, Fredricks, Neal, Dixon(Dickson), Burton, Swafford, Lee, Bernadoe, Lemance, Marcingile(Marcengil) and Shead(Shed). All these families settled in the Oconee County area of South Carolina, and have lived in this area for several generations. Prior to this there were families coming from Virginia, and prior to that coming over from England and Ireland.

Anyone with any information on these lines, please get in touch with me. I would love to add to my tree and will be more than happy to assist anyone who finds anything in my line to help their tree grow.
