"The Brown/Valentine/Burnett/Snell/ " Home Page

I am researching roots on both sides of my family for myself and future generations. On the "Snell" side, I have traced it back as far as Elias Snell, born Aug. 15, 1796 and died July 1, 1875. He married Ann ? Feb. 6, 1821, one child that I know of Samuel Kimmons Wilson Snell b. June 9, 1829 d. April 27, 1907. Of particular interest is Belle Lane from Bostic, N.C. that was born April 9, 1907, married Paul Shelton Snell, Sr. and died October 22, 1930-have no information at all about this individual or family, and background. On the "Brown" side, I have traced back to Walter Brown b. Jan.7, 1809, d. March 13, 1874 was married to Sarah E. Jacob on April 5, 1832. They had 11 children; John Henson b. 1/14/1833 Walter Brown Jr. b. 12/16/1834 Elizabeth Jane b. 12/14/1836 Emma Amelia b. 11/7/1838 Mary Catherine b. 6/4/1841 George Howard b. 4/6/1843 Susan Penelope b. 6/13/1845 Richard Bell b. 6/25/1846 Orlando Melville b.9/13/1849 Tillman Sheriff b. 12/27/1851 Sarah Alverda b. 7/2/1856. I have entries in old original Family Bible on these persons.
On the "Valentine" side, I have traced as far back as Franciscus Benjamin Valentine born in Metz, France in 1808, married Abigal Gaines from Kingston, New York, had 4 children.
On the "Burnett" side, I have traced back to David Burnett, born in 1820 in the Lowlands of Scotland, married Margaret Henderson b. 1820 in the Isle of Man. They had 4 children. Any one with any information or roots, please contact and I will share all knowledge I have on all.
