| I am researching the Burdicks that lived in Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, and Kansas. My mother was a Burdick and married Patrick Snethen, so I am also researching the Snethens who originally came from Ireland during the Potato Famine as O'Snethen. The Snethens lived in Missouri and Kansas. Some other family surnames that are linked to the Burdicks and Snethens are the Van Cleaves, Clappsaddles, Sorters, Paxsons, Garretts, Gentrys, and the Walkers from Arkansas who were Blackfoot Indians.
