| I am researching the Snipes family descending Billison Snipes of Surry, VA and Duplin, NC. The family settled in the Pee Dee region of SC, now Marion and Dillon counties beginning in about 1790. I belong to the Snipes Family of America whose membership include most States, but mostly spring from England, Barbados, VA, NC, and SC.
