She was born July 28, 1929 in Southampton, Suffolk Co, NY7, and died May 15, 1994 in New York City, NY.

Notes for J
OHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY:
He was born at 3:00 PM in the master bedroom of the family home at 83
Beals Street. He was named after his grandfather, John "Honey Fitz"
Fitzgerald, the former mayor of Boston.
He was baptized a Roman Catholic by the Rev. Msgr. John T. Creagh in
St. Aidan's Catholic Church at 158 Pleasant Street.
His appendix was removed in Boston by Dr. Verds of New Haven. John
finished the rest of the school year at home with the aid of tutors.
He graduated from Choate School and was voted most likely to succeed
of his class of 110.
The senior Kennedys went on to vacation in Europe while John began
studies in England and Kathleen began studies in France.
He was registered as a general course student for the 1935-1936
session at the London School of Economics and Political Science. John
became ill and was unable to begin his studies.
Having withdrawn from school following an attack of jaundice, he
returned to the United States to recover from his illness.
After dropping out of the University of London, he enrolled in
Princeton one month after the term had started. He had to drop out on
December 5, 1935 because of a recurrence of jaundice.
He entered Harvard University as a freshman, due to his being forced
to drop out of the London School of Economics and then from Princeton
the previous fall. His studies include economics, history and French.
He graduated cum laude from Harvard with a bachelor of science degree
in political science. His senior thesis, "Appeasement at Munich", was
awarded magna cum laude.
He enrolled in graduate classes in business and political science at
Stanford University. He was registered on a permit-to-attend-classes
basis only.
He was appointed an ensign in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
He became the commanding officer of USS PT-109 in the Pacific War
Theater during World War II.
He received the Navy and Marine Corps Medal. The citation read "For
extremely heroic conduct as Commanding Officer of Motor Torpedo Boat
109 following the collision and sinking of that vessel in the Pacific
War Area on August 1-2, 1943. Unmindful of personal danger,
Lieutenant (then Lieutenant Junior Grade) Kennedy unhesitatingly
braved the difficulties and hazards of darkness to direct rescue
operations, swimming many hours to secure aid and food after he had
succeeded in getting his crew ashore. His outstanding courage,
endurance and leadership contributed to the saving of several lives
and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States
Naval Service."
He was placed on the retired list of the U.S. Naval Reserve at the
rank of lieutenant.
He was elected to the office of U.S. Representative from the 11th
Congressional District of Massachusetts. He received 71.9 percent of
the popular vote.
He defeated three-term Republican incumbent Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr., in
the race for senator from Massachusetts. Kennedy becomes only the
third Democrat ever elected to a Senate seat from the state.
Elected President of the United States, he received 303 Electoral
Votes and 34,221,344 Popular Votes.
He was assassinated while riding in a motorcade in downtown Dallas.
Shots were fired from the Texas School Book Depository at 12:30 PM.
Jacqueline, Robert, and Edward Kennedy lit the Eternal Flame and he
was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
John F. Kennedy's charismatic personality was evident from early
childhood, as was his competitiveness. His love of books and history,
capacity for introspection and curiosity about ideas developed largely
from the many hours he spent in bed with illnesses, starting with a
particularly virulent attack of scarlet fever when he was two and
one-half years old. Although he was often absent from school and
illness forced him to drop out of a preparatory school and later,
Princeton University, he graduated cum laude from Harvard University
in 1940. With the 1944 death of his brother Joe, the family's
political ambitions transferred to Jack. His road to the White House
began with his election to Congress in 1946. Three terms there and he
was ready to wrest a Senate seat from the popular Republican Henry
Cabot Lodge, Jr. Jack's foray into presidential politics started with
his narrow defeat for nomination to be the vice presidential candidate
on the 1956 ticket with Adlai Stevenson, Jr. In 1960 he sought and
won the presidential nomination and subsequently, the election. When
he took his oath of office on the old family Bible that had belonged
to the first Fitzgerald to come to America, he was affirming the
immigrant belief in America. On November, 22, 1963, John F. Kennedy
was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas, Texas.

prematurely by Caesarean section at Georgetown University Hopital.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Jr. was born to a newly elected President of
the United States as an entire country waited in anticipation. The
toddler who was known for playing "hide and seek" in the oval office
says he has no recollection of those years. It was John Jr.'s 3rd
birthday when he stood by his mother and sister and saluted his
father's flag-draped coffin. John attended Philips Academy and Boston
College. He has an active interest in the theater and appeared in
school productions. He made his New York debut in August of 1985 in
an invitation only production where he played the male lead.
