They moved to North Carolina and then to Robertson County and later, to Webster County, Kentucky. DIEHL: AYLES, BARRIER, BROWN, CORNELL, ESCH, GEBHART, HEALY, HERTZ, HOLE, KREISCHER, LEIBENSTEIN, LOWENSTEIN, MOUDY, MYERS, NEUN, NINE, NUSHAG, RAUSCHER, RUDOLPH, SHEETS, SIMON, SIMONIS, TOBEY, TRACY, WETZEL, WHITESELL, WISE, YEAZEL, YSSELSTEIN The Diehl family came from Germany to York Co, Pennsylvania. The family flurished and my line moved to Columbiana Co, Ohio. Other family members came from Frederick Co, Maryland, Butler Co, Ohio, from New York and North Carolina. TOBEY: BENNETT, DIEHL, MOSSBARGER, MUSHBARGER, NICKERMAN, NECKERMAN, PRATHER, PRATER, SCHNEIDER, SILER, SIMMS, SYLER, THARP, THORPE, SPRIGG, VANDEVANDER, VANDEVENTER Many of the Tobey (Toby) ancestors migrated to Vermillion Co, Indiana from Ohio. (Butler Co., Gallia Co., Preble County and Scioto County) Others came from KY and VA. I am only able to go back to Ephraim Potts born 1810-1811 in Schykill County., Pennsylvania. Currently, researching the POTTS family in Loudon, Va. for a connection. The most recent history (1800's)has been based in Tippecanoe, Carroll, Miami, Rush, Newton and Jasper Counties in Indiana.
