Our family tree contains about 7800 people. The SOMMER family in Saginaw, Michigan, started with Christoph Sommer around 1880, and may have come from Breslau, Salesia Germany. This is Wraclaw, Poland today. The SCHROEDER family in Michigan, Sophia Schroeder 1861, Wilhelm Schroeder 1823, Christian Schroeder 1780, Hans Schroeder 1749 all born in Sukow, Mechlenburg, Germany. Also includes Gillman(Gellermann) and Iserhoth names. Also connects to Schroeder familytree, WFT volume 4, Tree 3564 by Larry E Stark, see link to his page below. The MARTIN family in Michigan, Benjamin Martin 1888, John Daniel Martin 1857 Greenwood,PA, Robert Martin cir 1830 Allegany Co, NY, probably Irish decendents. The ARTHUR family in Michigan, Elisabeth Arthur 1893, Saruin Arthur 1855, Samuel Arthur 1819 from Ireland. Also includes Campbell, Dart, Bates names. Also connects to Howard Deford familytree at website link shown below. My wife's family, HAMMOND in Massachusetts, Francis Hammond 1898, Walter Hammond 1867, Charles Hammond 1820 now goes back to Thomas Hammond of Levenham, England cir 1545 from History and Genealogies of the Hammond Families in America by F.S. Hammond 1904. Also, descendants of Thomas EAMES of Dorsetshire England from 1850 Also connect to Mayflower descendants of Henry SAMSON.
