I am researching the Sommer family, of course. Most came from the Altoona, PA area, with some moving to the Chicago area. Prior to my grandfather, I believe the family came from Germany. My great-grandmother's maiden name was Seitenspinner.Also, I am researching the Logan family, also from the Altoona/Johnstown, PA area. My great-grandmother's maiden name was Norton, coming here from France. I would appreciate any information and would be willing to share what information I have. |
