HMS SOUTHAMPTON, sunk 11th January 1941, Central Mediterranean east of Malta (c 35-00'N, 18-15'E) - by German Ju87 divebombers.Sailing from Malta to join Malta/Alexandria convoy after carrying troops to Malta and supporting Gibraltar/Malta convoy 'Excess' (Malta Convoys).
