Willing to exchange info with anyone who may be interested in these families! Please note that this is a work in progress and some information may be inaacurate as you know it. Please notify webmaster with information or corrections, questions or comments! THANK YOU to all who have contributed over that past 30 years in the compilation of this information. Scottish CLan information: The ZUILL family ( Hansen side) is a SEPT of the CLAN BUCHANAN from LOCH LOMOND Scotland & fought with WIlliam Wallace against the English. More info on the SEPT ZUILL will be coming in the future. ELLIS ISLAND IMMIGRANT MEMORIAL: Members of the family displayed on the amazing Ellis Island Immigrant Memorial are: Agnes Soplanda Drabek & her husband Frank Drabek Her parentsL Alois Soplanda & Anna Krivsky. We just visited there and it was very moving to see our family names etched in stone in sight of the Statue of Liberty! FAMOUS RELATIVES: Still researching to see if there are any!!! The artistic group of ZUILL's in BERMUDA seem to be the most likely , FRANCES ZUILL - famous Home Economic pioneer who wrote 6 books and ZUILL BAILEY, famous young cellist! Hansen's- A family of storytellers! Verbal traditions are very predominent on the Hansen side of the family. Lots of amazing stories have passed down through the generations- one in particular- The Amazing Tale of ROY REED! Is it an URBAN LEGEND or REAL??? |
