Immigrant William Sprenckel descendant - Elizabeth Sprinkle (b. c. 1844) was the daughter of the mystery Malinda Sprinkle of Lee Co., VA. Malinda is the lady who was married to Elias Fugate but had several Sprinkle-surnamed children, including George W. (see his photos). Elizabeth married John W. Hopkins, 1 Sept 1862, Harlan Co., KY & James Monroe Fugate, 9 Nov 1876 in Harlan Co., KY. Elizabeth, her Hopkins children & sister Virginia Fugate lived in Lee Co. in 1870. In 1880 & 1900, she was in Harlan Co., and then after her divorce/separation from James Fugate, she moved to Lincoln Co., KY. She died sometime after 1910.
