Immigrant William Sprenckel Descendant - John W.R. Sprinkle (1827-1906), s/o George Sprinkle (George of Cass Co.) & Hannah Barley. He married Margaret A. Roach. A biography on John's son includes the following about John W.R.: ". . .was a machinist by trade, but after coming to Cass Co., in young manhood, followed farming and stock raising, and also operated a sawmill and threshing machine."
