* Sorgatz Family Tree - Michigan/New York Area*

Updated September 6, 2000

Hello from Michigan!
Well, if your reading this you probably have interest in the Sorgatz genealogy. I'm currently looking for the parents to
my Great, Great, Great Grandparents. My Great Grandfather fred left Germany with his parents, brother Frank and 2 sisters around 1890-1895 and arrived in New York. Parents and sisters died from a plague. Fred and Frank were sent to orphan homes and given to families who treated this as slave labor for a number of years.

My Great, Great, Great Grandparents would have been the parents to the family who left for New York. Right now, I know nothing about them. Any clues, however far fetched, would be appreciated. Thanks!!!!

Christopher D. Sorgatz
