I started research when my first grandchild was
expected; there were wonderful family members
I hoped to introduce.
Amazingly, I found myself meeting ancestors I had
not known existed. There are mysteries, such as
the ancestors of my maternal grandmother, that
I would like to solve.
There are mysteries of history that bear investigating.
Medieval times have opened to my inquisitive eye and
the part played by my ancestors could occupy many hours,
days and years of exploration.
I am grateful to fellow researchers who share
their findings and to the writers of historical "fiction"
for their insights.
