May 11, 1715 Syme Van Name bought from John Chrsnsnoon a 40 acre plantation with house, barn etc..
1721 Symon Van Name bought 80 acres of adjoining land at Karie's Neck, New Springville.
The Lancaster Symes Survey of 1723 shows Simon's land was on the East side of present day Richmond Avenue between Rockland Avenue and Richmond Hill Road, running through to Forest Hill Road.
His Majesties Justice in Richmond from 1728 to 1737.
September 1, 1736 one half intrest in 572 acres of land at Watering Place ( Tompkinsville ) .
He married again after acquiring the property at the Watering Place.
