I am searching for the Norwegian ancestors of my grandparents. The history of both families is well known since their emigration from Norway to Minnesota in the last century and I'll be happy to share that information.My paternal grandfather, John Malvick, born July 13, 1865 in Trondhjem, Norway, to Peter and Malena Kristine Malvick, emigrated to Minnesota in 1882, and married Christine Haugen, born July 31, 1869 in Trondhjem, Norway, to Ole and Serena Engan Haugen. Need information on great-grandparents and their ancestors.My maternal grandfather, Christopher Soren Holm, born June 6, 1870 on Holmen farm in Skoger Parish, Norway, married Amanda Sophie Rockvoy, born July 4, 1886, to Iver Tronsen Rockvoy, from Aukra Parish, Norway, and Anna Erickson. Ancestors have been traced to mid-1700s in Norway. Would like earlier information.
