- Hafley Falls (291 KB)
These Falls located near Butchertown just off Elk Cave Rd.,is one of My favorite places. There is a spring on the left facing the Falls at the base of the cliff,It provided drinking water and a place to keep stuff cool.In the past wooden steps down the cliff made It more accessable to the generations of Family who lived acorss the road at the top.The pool was a place for baptisms, chasing bulfrogs, skipping rocks and skinny dipping.Several Memorable picnics were held here with loved ones long departed.
