• Jimmie Sowell graduating from US Marines bootcamp (45 KB)
  1996 USMC PFC Sowell graduation from boot camp as a Private First Class (PFC). Next stop Vietnam. Jim was drafted into the Marines in 1965 after being married for only 1 1/2 months. He was sent to Vietnam in 1966 and spent 13 months and 4 days before returning home. Honorable discharge in 1967 as a Sergeant working in the Intelligence Group.
