My Brookes family are from St Helens Lancashire UK, they are said to have arrived from the Potteries,in Stoke, Edward born 1846 son of Hannah Tunstall @ Edward Brookes. Edward marr Margaret Ward date unknown. Edward was a Donkey man on the docks until he retired. any info will be welcome.
