I have tried to Research both parents lines of descent as far back as I could using Ancestry.co.uk and paying visits to the Family Records Office in London.
This hobby is extremely time consuming but very rewarding when you found the correct ancestor. Why have so many people got the same names and were born in the same districts I want? I think the art to this is to CHECK, re-CHECK and then DOUBLE CHECK not only your ancestors but their siblings and the various census throughout each 10 year period.
