* The Aubrey Gilbert Spencer Home Page*

Updated September 6, 2000

February 20, 1999 - Today I begin the search for Relatives and Ancestors.
I am currently searching the roots of the SPENCER name. I know that my line of Spencers originated from Clairmont (Claremont??), New Hamshire sometime in the 1600's.

A man by the name of Gerard Spencer arrived somewhere around Plymouth, from Europe (England, I belive). Four brothers left the U.S. sometime in the 1700's and settled in Mira, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. This is where both my Father & Grandfather grew up.

Any information that you could provide to help me in my quest
would be greatly appreciated.
