Philosophy:Regardless of any other interest or affiliation, there is no stronger bond than to be a member of a family. No bankruptcy or force can take away our name. The Spears & Related Family names have always been honored names. Those of us how bare those names bring greater honor to them with each passing generation.

A family can be great in many ways, but the most obvious way is just in the number of people. Each passing generation multiplies the number of family members to greatness. During the past 200 years, in the United States alone, the Spears & related families have grown from just a handful of people to hundreds of thousands individuals.

Genealogy is the gathering and recording of family relationships. In the past, when our family was small, the family genealogy could be kept in the family bible. However, with the greater number of family members involved and the wider range of places we have chosen to live, these noble families have lost track of each other and the genealogy is fragmented. For this cause the David Spears family of Henderson, Nevada has organized the "Spears & Related Family Registry".

Our Mission Is:
1. To gather as much genealogy and historical information about the Spears & related families as possible.
2. To computerize that information and to link families via the Internet.
3. To make that information available to the rest of the family at no cost.
