Philosophy: Regardless of every other interest or affiliation, there is no stronger bond than to be a member of a family. No bankruptcy, court or force can take away our name. The Spears Family name has always been an honored name. Those of us who bare it brings greater honor to it with every passing generation.
A family can be Great in many ways, but the most obvious way is just in the number of people. Each passing generation multiplies the number of family members to greatness. During the past 200 years, in the United States alone, the Spears family has grown from just a handful of people to about 50,000 individuals.
Genealogy is the recording of family relationships. In the past, when the family was small, the family genealogy could be kept in the family Bible or burned into the headboard. However, with the greater number of family members and the wider range of places we have chosen to live, this noble family has lost track of each other. For this cause the David Spears family of Henderson, Nevada has organized the "Spears Family Registry".

Our Mission Is:
1. To gather as much genealogy and historical information about the Spears and related families as possible.
2. To computerize that information.
3. To make that information available to the rest of the family.

Conclusion:
Each of you holds a valuable piece of this genealogical puzzle. Please gather, copy and send a copy or gedcom to: Spears Family Registry, 819 San Eduardo, Henderson, NV 89015. Or e-mail that information to us at: SprsFamReg@aol.com or Spears-Family-Registry@bigfoot.com. Remember that the more detailed the information the easier it will be to make connections to other family members.
