* The Boyd Genealogy As Discovered by Your Country Cuz*

Updated December 30, 2010

I am researching the Boyd family. The earliest record I have is William Boyd born approx 1710. I don't know where he was before that. He married Jane Stevenson on Feb 25, 1772 and they had one son: James and five daughters: Martha, Agnes (Nancy), Jenny, Elizabeth, Mary.

My grandparents are Turner Boyd and Rosa Mae Keathley. I am starting with all persons referred to me that are still living. Some deceased people's names will arise from these interviews. When I have exhausted this research, if I ever do, I will begin research of my deceased relatives, first by census records, then by interviews.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.

It is now Nov. 2008 and I am thinking how naive I had been back then, in the good ole days. Before I learned that my ancestors really were fruitful and really did multiply!!

To do a good job of keeping everything up to date would take a well staffed office full time! And that's just for the ones decended from the ones already mentioned!

I've gotten a couple of emails and a couple of calls from some of you. I don't know, I'll think about trying to bring some of it up to date.

Later--Judy
