I am researching the Gaul family from Ireland. Patrick Joseph Gaul Sr. served as a coal stoaker in the US Navy duing the Spanish American War. He recieved a medal for his participation in the Battle of Manila Bay. He married Catherine Hayes and they had nine children: James, Catherine, William, Eileen, Elisabeth, Anastasia, Thomas, Rose and Patrick Jr.

In addition, I'm researching the Briggs family of Illinois.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
