I am researching my paternal family MARSDEN,and also my maternal family COLMAN.The MARSDEN's originate from WESSINGTON and CRICH in DERBYSHIRE,ENGLAND.So far I have traced back to my Great-Great-Great Grandfather THOMAS MARSDEN who was born in 1777 and was a Framework Knitter in Wessington,Derbys.He was married to FAITH POXON on 4 September 1803.The COLMAN,s seem to have originated in Scotland.My Great-Grandfather PETER JAMES COLMAN was born in Scotland in 1857,exact location unknown.He married MARIA-ANNE SANSON-BAKER on 1 August 1880 in NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE,England.
