STEVE CALVERT
Island,Ky.-Steve Calvert, 68, died suddenly at his home here at 2 a.m., Saturday. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Calvert was born in McLean Co., Oct. 10,1890, and had lived here all his life.
Survivors include his wife, "Mrs. Effiie Calvert, two sons,Leo Calvert, Central City, Ky., and Arvin Calvert, Pampa,Texas, four grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Zilpha Mitchell, Owensboro and one brother, Cical Calvert, Island.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Island Baptist Church, the Rev. Norbert Taylor, pastor, officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The body is at the Muster Funeral Home, Livermore.
Steve was a farmer and later moved to town where he worked for Red Kirtley.
