My family started when Henry Sewell arrived from England and settled in Sewell's Point, VA. His family moved from there to Maryland and finally arrived in Georgia. From Georgia they began to move across the state and into other states as well. It has taken me on a journey and I am continuing to find more and more ancestors as I go. I have over 40,000 names and it continues to grow. I enjoy communicating with other Sewells and comparing lists. Would love to hear from any Sewells or relations to the Sewell family. We have a Ervin A. Sewell reunion every 3rd Sunday in July in Cumming, Georgia.
