| I am researching the VanDyke-Simonson lines of my grandparents. The family is from NY and NJ. I have the VanDyke line back to the 1600's when the family came to America. The Simonson line is a bit more difficult. There are three brothers that are the progenitors of the family in America and all three evidently followed the same naming patters for the sons. My line goes through Cornelius b.1888 m Eugenia VanDyke, Cornelius b.1858 m. Carrie Garbutt, Cornelius W. b. 1828 m. Elizabeth,Carman Simonson b.1800 m. Sarah....and that is where I'm in a holding pattern. This line is located in BROOKLYN NY. Other family lines are, Spragg/Sprague(Mary, m. VanDyke, then Wooley)Harrington, Reegan/Regan, Garbutt, Martin, Maps. Looking for cousins! |
