I am researching SPIKER's/ SPEICHER's / SPYKER's in the Garrett, Allegany Counties of Maryland during the 19th century. My Great-Grandfather was Thomas Redemus "Demus" Spiker, married to Catherine Pysell. He was the son of Joseph A. Spiker and Sarah Hershberger, who was the son of Adam Spiker and Anne Reckner, who was the son of Jacob Spiker and Barbary ?, who was the son of Ulrich Spiker and Maria ?. Ulrich immigrated from Germany on the ship "Charming Polly" in 1737 and settled in Western Pennsylvania.
