The Spicer family

My name is Mary Spicer. My maiden name is THOMAS. I also have surnames of WALKER, WAKEFIELD, UNSWORTH, SMITH and HAMMERSLEY in my family which is an ongoing project. I do know that the Smith family did visit Canada around the 1880 - 90s where one of the children was born.

The Thomas family emigrated to Tazmania in August 1914. My grandfather returned as a soldier during the 1st war where he met and married my grandmother, before returning to Tazmania where he was a lumbejack. They returned to Staffordshire, England in 1935 where they remained until their death. This project is in its early stages and any information would be appreciated. Thanks for looking.
