I am particularly interested in the ancestors and siblings of Charles Jacob SPICER, b. 15 June 1850 to George and Elizabeth Spicer. Census records state that Charles was born in PA, but it is likely that he was born in OH or WV (VA at the time, of course). The family reportedly moved to Illinois in 1859, so they should have been there at the time of the 1860 Census; I haven't found them yet. An obituary of Charles mentions that he drove a team of oxen to Kansas in 1861 but omits any mention of George and Elizabeth.

Also in Eli ELMORE b. 2 Dec 1871 Mason Co. IL, d. Sep 1946 Topeka, Shawnee Co. KS, who lived in the Topeka Kansas area, and his siblings (William, Samuel, and Florence) and ancestors. His father was Lewis Ellmore (note the two LLs!) b. abt. 1848 in KY. Eli was living in Beaver Co. OK with wife Josie and mother-in-law Mary Williams at the 1920 Census. By 1928 he was living in Topeka KS with 2nd wife Flossie McMaster.

Also in ancestors and siblings of Everett STULTZ b. 27 June 1880 who lived in Indiana.

Also in ancestors and siblings of Fred BAILEY b. 21 June 1885 who lived in Indiana. His parents were William Bailey b, abt. 1850 in Wales, and Laurilla WILTSEY of Clay Co. IN.

I am certainly willing to share any information I have on these lines.
