Our origins are in the Hungary/Slovakia area of Eastern Europe. My paternal grandfather, Moshe Dovid, raised my father and six other children in the village of Stropkov, (near Miskolc) Hungary. Only my father and one sister migrated to the US after WWI. The other children and my grandfather were killed in the Shoah. My paternal grandmother was Yehudit Juda. |
