| My family lines are the Jackson's, Glass', Woodard's and Yarbro's of Tipton County, TN. I have quite a bit of information on the Yarbro(ugh) side, mostly from North Carolina, Iowa and TN. The Glass side of the family, I have some information , mainly that my ggrandfather was from Ireland. The Jackson and Woodard part of my family is a mystery. I only know that my grandfather was Henry Milton Jackson, son of Thomas Jackson in Lauderdale County, TN. My ggrandfather Lewis Henderson Woodard was of a wealthy family. He was a bookkeeper and his father was a doctor. It has been told to my grandmother that her family came from probably North Carolina. I know my information is vague, but if anyone can help I would appreciate it. Willing to share all the information I have. Thanks! |
