Help for Sharon MarshallI am desperately trying to track down my grandmother. My motherís name is Sandra Mair and she was given up for adoption when she was a year old. My name is Sharon Marshall and I am using the internet to help my mother find her natural mother and any other living relations we may have.

My mother is 54 years of age and was born on the 23 April 1944 , at 32 Carden Place, Aberdeen. Her natural motherís name is Evelyn Gibbs Gowans. who was married on the 12 April 1941 in Aberdeen Scotland to James Douglas Gordon Smith, a chemistís dispenser. He was also a Lance Corporal with the Royal Corps of Signals. They lived at 182 Union Grove, Aberdeen. James Douglas Gordon Smith was not my motherís natural father.

My motherís natural father was John Thomson Westland Mair, tramway car conductor who lived at 25 Princes Street, Aberdeen. A Wm Hustwick signed the birth certificate as registrar of the Southern District of Aberdeen in the Burgh of Aberdeen on 11 May 1944.

That is all the information my mother actually knows about herself.

I currently live in Sydney Australia with Stephen Spring

I would love to hear from anyone who thinks they may have any information about the above. A curiosity and longing of 54 years will hopefully be solved if you can help us.
