The Mathias Sedlars of Michigan and WisconsinUpdated February 1, 2002 |
Mathias Sedlar came from Austria to this country in 1886. His wife came here in 1888. They lived in Houghton, Michigan where they raised their eight children. I know that he and Josephine lived with thier daughter Marie (Ree) and her husband Peggie (?) Perenchio. They are burried in Holy Cross cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mathias mother Barbara lived with them in Houghton and at some time lived with a family called Sustarich. I do not know where she died or is burried but I think that would be in Laurium, Mi. I do have all the info on their 8 children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. |
