Barbaro Family Home Page

I am researching the surnames Barbaro, Quattrocchi, Macaluso, Volanti. These families are from Sicily. They immigrated to the U.S. in the early 1900's, through Ellis Island They generally settled in Boston, N.Y. and Chicago. The towns these families were from are Palermo & Salemi. The region is Trapani. I am particulary interested in the Babaro name, as this is my father's last name. His first name is Salvatore. The period I am researching is 1860's and prior to. Any information, would be greatly appreciated.
