The STAUB family is from western PA.My sixth generation ancestors were Conrad STAUB and Carolina JORDAN.We also have relatives near Binghamton, NY and in Iowa.
I am currently looking for people who have done research on the following surnames:
Staub, Jordan, Smith, Taylor, Nasser, McCloskey, Peacock, Aisbitt, Waite, Arensberg, Garlock, Geyer, Rankin, Bidet, Folz, Gshwend, Kinder, and Muller.
The earliest date I have in the US is 1859.Both Conrad and Carolina were born in Germany in 1828 and around 1836 respectively.
