Immigrant's surname: WOLF Immigrant's given name(s): Georg Ship name: Queen of Denmark U.S. arrival date: 4 OCT 1751 Port: Philadelphia, PA Place of origin: Oberhochstadt. Pfalz Source: Rupp's 30 Thousand Names
Notes: Georg Wolf moved to the Drylands area of Nazereth, PA where he apparently remarried His first wife's name was Maria Appolonia (Meyer); second wife's name was Catherine. There were children from both marriages; most of my data is on the children of the second marriage and the eldest child of the first marriage, a Georg Wolf (Jr.?) from whom I am descended. Most of this information comes from a 2 volume geneology of the Wolf Families of Pennsylvania, which dates from the 1960's and includes only those Wolfs descended from Georg Wolf, Sr. of the Queen of Denmark, although there were apparently many Wolfs who were siblings of George on the Queen of Denmark (Jacob and Maria Elisabetha) and intermarried families such as the Meyers, the Ulrichs, and the Beckers, all from Oberhochstadt or Neiderhochstadt, Pfalz.
