Notes for Jost Derr: Perhaps he had children or grandchildren that moved to the Washingtonville, Montour Co. area. In Alfreda Patton's "David Kramn, His Ancestors & Descendants," York: IAD Printing Service, 1978, page 100, it tells of the following: Jacob Derr, Rev. War soldier, b. Oct. 1749, d. Apr 1828 (or 1752-1829 Lehigh Co.) and had 9 children--Michael, Jacob, John, David M., Susan, Kate, Elizabeth, Mollie, and Henry. His son David M. (Feb 14, 1798-Mar 24, 1877 buried at Washingtonville) married Magdalena (1793-July 18, 1880). They had six children including son Rev. Joshua H. Derr and daughter Mary Ann (bn. Feb 12, 1826) who married Samuel Kramn, son of David Kramn.
A number of Derr's (about 60) are buried at the Old Turbotville Cemetery. Page 279-280 of Lucas S. Brass's book includes a listing. The earliest generation of a burial is: Daniel Derr 4/28/1799- 5/25/1873 and his wife Catharine 5/2/1807- 4/21/1895

He was a revolutionary war soldier, died in Union Co., PA abt. 1820.
