Notes for Buettner: Bell's "History of Northumberland Co., PA," 1891, page 1125 states that a "Caroline Bitzner married Andrew House, both natives of Germany and immigrated to this country where they married. Their son J.W. House, a blacksmith, was born in Chillisquaque Twp., Nbld. Co. on April 3, 1848. Perhaps this Caroline is a sister or cousin of our Henry C.F. Buettner.
