[Brøderbund WFT Vol. 6, Ed. 1, Tree #4125, Date of Import: 24 Oct 2000]

Jacob, according to land and tax records was living in Albany Twp. of Berks Co. from 1773 to 1778. Around that time he moved to Lynn Twp. in Northampton Co. and then sometime after 1790 and before 1793 he moved to Turbot Twp. in Northumberland Co. He served in the Revolution in Captain Ritter's company. The executors of the Jacob's estate were John and Jacob Lilley. In 1835 the other heirs - his other surviving children - petitioned the court complaining that that John and Jacob were intemperate and were mishandling the estate. George, Molly and Hannah had apparently predeceased Jacob as their families were listed as heirs. Among his children, John was living in Turbotville in 1810 and in Union Co., PA in 1830. Jacob remained in Turbotville. Peter, who is the only unlisted child, lived in East Buffalo Twp. in 1810 and eventually moved to Ohio. He had 15 children. Isaac was living in Turbotville in 1840. It is likely Jacob spent his entire life, as did his father, among Germans and spoke the German language. Other than the children of George the only known grandchildren are from John, Jacob and Elizabeth, and from Isaac, Peter.
