The Stanley Family Anthology, a compiled work by Larry Stanley, has been a personal project for over fifteen years. Someday it may be published. In a fervent attempt to respect copyright and work performed by others, the following is a listing of reference materials used. Many records of marriage, estates and land deeds were located at the county courthouses of Barrow, Clarke, Columbia, Greene, Gwinnett, Henry Jackson, Lincoln, Richmond, Warren and Wilkes. Much information was provided by living descendants of the Stanley families. Researchers have posted their work at various websites, and are credited within the text.
