My gggrandmother is Sarah Lillie Finch born May 7, 1875, married Jesse Robin Williamson Dec 11,1890 in Simpson County, MS, she died September 17, 1962, buried in Goodwater Cemetery.

I am looking for proof or clues of her parents names.

Unknown FINCH b. abt 1835, died (between 1874-1880) in or around Galveston, TX

Barney or William Barney FINCH b. abt. 1855 - fact 1: possibly served as a US Marshall in TX.  fact 2: lived in Jackson, MS in 1869  fact 3: worked for Mr. Williamson in store.  fact 4: Married Jenny Williamson (dau of store owner)

I didn't find Sara Lillie by name or her husband Jesse Williamson, but I
think I found her parents.  On page 257-8 in Finch Families of Dixie there is
the following.

Mississippi Born, Miscellaneous

7.  FINCH, Barney, possibly William Barney.  Came to Jackson, MS and worked
for a Mr. Williamson in his store.  After a short time he married Jenny
Williamson.  We find a marriage record dated 30 Nov 1869 for a J. P. Finch
and Jenny Williamson in Choctaw Co, MS.  Barney went away after the first
child was born and stayed for some time.  He returned for a while, and there
was a second child.  Then he received a telegram from Galveston, TX that his
father had died, and he went to TX to settle his father's estate, and never
came back.  Jenny would never talk about him except to say that he was a US
Marshall.  One descendant says Barney's mother was Sentha Rena FINCH.
    8.  FINCH, daughter, married, both she and her husband dec'd pr 1972
    8.  David A.M. b. 15 Oct 1870, oldest child, d. 25 Oct 1945, m. (1) Laura
Collison, ........... (2) Addie Lee.

Several descendants of David and his wives are given.  If they are of
