| I am researching the ancestors of Paul John Stenzel family of Wells, Minnsota. Paul was born March 14, 1830, to Jakob Stenzel (Jacob Stencel) and Agnes Troska near Neudorf, Silisia, Poland. Jacob and Agnes are both Buried possible in the Nowa Wies, Poland (Furstlich Neudorf, Germany) area. Paul Came to United State in 1884 at age 54. They bought a ticket at Kepno, Poland (Kempen, Germany) and on June 1, 1884, boarded the ship "Weiland" at Hamburg, Germany. The captain of the ship was Captain Hulsick. Jakob Stenzel's parents were Mathias Stenzel (b. Feb 17, 1732) and Catharinea Knietz (b. Oct 19, 1754). Mathias Stenzel's parents were Adalberto Stenzel (b. ?) and Maria Libner (b. ?). I am also researching the ancestors of Joseph Swehla family from Waucoma, IA. Joseph was born July 29, 1843, in Austria. He was married to Anna Lenora Sobolek (b. Apr 05, 1841) on October 23, 1866. Joseph emigrated to United States from Austria (former Allegiance) or Germany on June 10, 1865 to Waukom, Iowa. He was naturalized in Waucoma, Iowa, September 30, 1873. Anna emigrated to United States on March 4, 1853 from Germany to Iowa.
