Sisters-in-law: MINNA STRUVE STEBENS and AGNES STEBENS KOOS. Graceful, generous and confident were attributes common to both. Minna was the daughter of German-American businessman Hans Struve. She was born @ Rock Island, Iowa and married Frank Henry Stebens. She lived from 1875 to 1937, the mother of 5 children: Frank, William, Herman, Arthur and Lillian. Her sister-in-law, Agnes Stehbens married Herman Koos and they had 4 children: Stella, Edna, Norma and Harold. Agnes was born in 1865 in Davenport, Iowa and lived till 1957. She and Herman lived in Grand Mound, Iowa throughout their married life.
