Don Steinbrecher has Major George J. Dixon's sword from the 1837 campaign.

I am sorry,I forgot to put in the part about the Ault/Dixon
connection in my first E-mail.
Minerva Ann Ault(1820-1868) married George Dixon. She was the third
of 9 children of Nicholas N. Ault and Margaret Ross. She was born on
July 3,1820 in the Nicholas N. Ault home in Charlesville (later
Aultsville),Osnabruck Twp. Minerva Ann married George Dixon in July
26,1838 in Charlesville. I have no information on George Dixon. The
information I have says they lived in Chicago after their marriage.
They moved back to Cornwall later on.
