She married (1) Jonas Olaf Westman. She married (2) Jonas Skoglund 12 Oct 1827, son of Jon Hansson and Karin Olsdotter.

Notes for Beata Maria Strom:
Learned her daughter,Anna Maria, had died the day before she arrived at Bishop Hill.Two weeks later her son-in-law,Olaf who founded Bishop Hill the previous year, and two grandchildren also succumbed(to cholera). Their son Jonas Olsson who had stayed behind because of illness and came over with Beata survived and was raised by his half-aunt Catharina.
