Henry Johnson Epperhart of Morgan County, KentuckyUpdated February 11, 2004 |
I am researching the family of Henry Johnson Epperhart (born about 1783). They migrated to Morgan County, KY about 1835. Henry Johnson Epperhart first appears in the 1840 US census. Before that time he and his faimly lived in Taswell County, Virginia. His wife Christina was a Day from Taswell County. They were married in Taswell County on June 6, 1816. All of Their children were born in Taswell County. I have no information of his where abouts before Taswell County. In the 1840 census information he indicates his place of birth was PA. I know of family stories about three brothers migrating to the US from Germany. I have no names or dates on the matter. I have no indication at this time that Henry was one of the brothers. I have not found any Epperhart in the United States that is related to any individuals other than Henry Johnson Epperhart. If there were other brothers of Henry they must have used another last name. Any information about Henry Johnson Epperhart or any EPPERHART living or deceased would truly be appreciated. I am willing to share the information that I have. |
