I am primarily researching Stephens, Riggins, Potts, Elrich, Southwick, Endicott, Davidson,Cogan, DeBeaumont, DeMontfort, Lippincott, & Gaskill. Thus far I have made many new and fun contacts with other searchers and family I didn't know I had...what a kick! I first contributed to the World Family Tree some time ago which appears on disc 6. All of this has made me happy about the limb I'm sitting on and greater respect for the whole tree and all of our roots.

The search runs from European roots in Germany, England, France, Wales, & Ireland. In the US it goes from Massachusetts and the Carolinas through New Jersey, Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas,New Mexico,Arizona, and California. Many times removed I have Puritan Grandparents (Endicott) who were severely discriminating against my other Grandparents (Southwick)who were Quakers in the 1600's in New England. In fact John Greenleaf Whittier wrote a poem entitled "The Ballad of Cassandra Southwick" to commemorate the plight of these opressed Quakers. I have included a link below to that poem and story.
